The Cookie House started the way most good things do: people kept asking for more. What began as cookies for family and friends around Cedar Creek Lake turned into a small home bakery, baking to order for neighbors, parties, and anyone with a sweet tooth.
Everything is made in small batches in a home kitchen. No shelves of day-olds, no factory line. When you order, it gets baked fresh for your pickup date, because cookies should taste like someone actually made them.
Jana also runs Hair By Jana, and The Cookie House is her second love, the one with the best taste-testers.

How do I order?+
Use the order request form on this page. Pick your flavors and pickup date and send it over, and we'll confirm availability and your total within 24 hours. It's a request, not a paid order, so nothing's locked in until we confirm.
How far ahead do I need to order?+
We ask for a few days' notice. Big orders and catering need more lead time, so the earlier the better, especially around holidays.
What are the order sizes and prices?+
Cookies are sold by the dozen and half-dozen, and you can mix and match flavors in one box. Per-flavor pricing is confirmed when you request your order. (Prices TBD.)
How do I pay, and where do I pick up?+
There's no online checkout. Once we confirm your order you pay at pickup in Mabank with Venmo or cash. Retail orders are pickup only; delivery is available for catering orders around the Cedar Creek Lake area.
Do you make cookies for weddings, parties, and events?+
Yes. Trays and boxes for weddings, showers, birthdays, office and church events are some of our favorite orders. Mention the event on the order form for bulk pricing and delivery.
What about allergens?+
Our cookies are made in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy, so cross-contact is possible. If you have a serious allergy, ask us before ordering.
Is this a licensed kitchen?+
The Cookie House operates under Texas cottage food law as a home bakery: made in a home kitchen not inspected by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
